About the Project

With the financial support of the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan, the organization of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Women Agency (UN Women) and the support of Forest School Azerbaijan, a camp “For the Promotion of the Value of Young Girls and Gender Equality” for young boys was held in Mingachevir.

The purpose of the camp, which lasted three days, was to contribute to the elimination of stereotypes about girls in society and to promote the value of girls through the participation of young people.

Within the framework of the camp, trainings were held for the participants on the topics “Sex and Gender”, “Responsible Fatherhood”, “Gender Equality”, “Selecting Sex Based on Sex and Gender Violence”.

In addition, they participate in various social, emotional, physical and intellectual activities in accordance with the educational concept “Forest School”.

Young men aged 15-18 from Gakh, Lankaran, Mingachevir, Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Agstafa and Tovuz took part in the camp.
