“Winter Camp” in Sheki

Forest School Azerbaijan held a “Winter Camp” in Sheki.

The participants of the camp got acquainted with the history and culture of the city of Sheki, took part in various master classes related to creativity and craftsmanship, gained practical knowledge and skills.

During the practical classes, the participants attended workshops related to Sheki cuisine, such as preparing and eating “Piti”, making “shebeke”, which is an ancient form of Sheki art, and preparing Sheki halva.

In addition, the participants took part in various activities in accordance with the educational approach of the Forest School in the Sheki Khans Palace, the Sheki Artisans House, the Sheki “ABAD” Ceramics and Applied Art Centre.
