The Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has successfully completed the “Papa School” program, developed by Forest School Azerbaijan as part of a social contract.
The project aimed to improve responsible parenting skills and conduct educational activities to help prevent families from falling into difficult life situations. The program’s primary goal was to increase fathers’ involvement in the parenting process, strengthen healthy family relationships, and promote equal recognition of boys and girls as family members. Particular attention was paid to supporting children’s physical and psychological development.
Ten qualified trainers with experience working with a variety of audiences were selected to implement the program. They underwent specialized preparatory training. Trained facilitators have conducted educational classes and discussion sessions for fathers in the regions this December 2025.
The program covered the Sabunchu and Binagadi districts of Baku, the cities of Sumgait, Ganja and Lankaran, Khirdalan, and the Masalli, Jalilabad, Tovuz, and Shamkir districts. A total of 250 fathers participated in the project.
