About the Project

Forest School Azerbaijan organized “Family Day” Expedition to the southern region of Azerbaijan (Lenkoran-Astara), where children could have fun and learn with their parents.

Within the framework of the event, Rufat Aliyev, the founder of the educational model of several schools in Azerbaijan, an honored teacher, educator, and expert in the field of education, held interactive meetings on family and child development. Answers were given to parents’ questions about the crises in family life and ways to solve them.

During the expedition, sports and intellectual competitions were held among families, as well as developing games related to the development of children in science, technology, art, and mathematics.

An intellectual competition on orienteering was held during the hiking, organized in the village of Sym in Astara district,

Also, together with the staff of Lankaran Vocational Lyceum, the participants got acquainted directly with the care of plants, their planting, and the art of carpet weaving.
