A camp called “Girls at the Center for Climate Action” will be organized in Lankaran with the support of the UN Population Fund, COP29 Youth Climate Champion and Forest School Azerbaijan on October 11-13.
The camp, aimed at teenage girls aged 14-17, aims to increase girls’ awareness of climate change through experiential learning, leadership and outdoor activities.
During the 3-day camp, participants will take part in trainings on “Climate Change and Gender”, “Outdoor Education and the Environment”, “Leadership in Climate Action” and other topics. In addition, they will participate in various social, emotional, physical and intellectual activities in line with the educational concept of Forest School.
Adolescent girls from all regions of the country can apply for participation in the camp. Preference will be given to those who can fully participate in the camp.
