Summer Camp “Forest School Vandam” is over

In partnership with the Gabala State Center for Vocational Education, a summer camp “Forest School Vandam” was held in Vandam settlement of Gabala district.

The main purpose of the camp was to develop in children life skills, self-confidence, and a desire to learn outdoors safely, explore and enjoy the nature.

Within the framework of the camp, children participated in practical classes in various professional areas. The classes were organized jointly with the specialists of the Gabala State Center for Vocational Education.

In addition, children participated in the various entertainment and educational activities in accordance with the educational concept of the Forest School. Among them: recycling, collection of medicinal plants located in the Vandam settlement area, and obtaining dyes from plants.

The camp participants learned the intricacies of the art of making copper products, as well as producing kelagayi, and got the opportunity to apply it in practice.
